Description: This 7-inch square 'adult sand box' is inspired by the famous stone and gravel garden in Kyoto's exquisite RyoanJi, a favorite place of mine during my many years in Japan. I'm including some beautiful and exotic stones as centerpieces for the raked patterns. I found the black stones while camping in the Great Sand Sea of the Sahara in western Egypt. The frame for the garden is beautifully detailed ceramic. The photo shows it with the sand and stones. I will put the stones and sand in a bag for shipping. Raking the sand is a restful activity. In case it gets messy, I'm including a brush to coax the sand back into the garden, and extra sand in case your kitty likes her/his new sandbox.
