Description: Yngwie J. Malmsteen owned and played custom built 1968 reissue stratocaster. In 2006 Yngwie Malmsteen retired all his vintage guitars from touring. After recording “Perpetual Flame” in 2007 with his favorite maple cap 1968 strat he asked Fender to “clone” the vintage 68 so he could tour with a guitar that would look,play & sound exactly the same. This is that guitar. It is identical in every way-the neck profile,body shape and weight-everything. This is a one off. It currently in Yngwie’s private collection.
