Description: The M-1936 pistol belt was very popular with infantry troops in the early years of WW2. Equipment, including pistols, ammo, knives, canteens, intrenching tool and more could be clipped to the belt and/or suspenders. This example is in very good condition with no holes, tears, or other damage, other than a bit of edge wear. Overall, the belt measures approximately 43" extended. The manufacturers stamp on the reverse appears to be NASCO of Nasco Awnings, Brooklyn, NY. Although the date is unclear (194_) it is likely early war as the khaki webbing is khaki and had not yet switched to OD green. A nice piece to add to a US WW2 field gear collection. Shipped promptly.
