Description: Our Napa Valley Counter Stool with Red Mahogany Finish is incredibly well built, comfortable, and sure to look great in your kitchen or wine bar. We craft this stool entirely from a recycled red wine barrel. The seat features a French or American oak cooperage stamp. We finished this piece with a deep, red mahogany color and added 3 coats of furniture grade lacquer for durability. It's cross braced for stability and the original metal barrel bands serve as the footrest. Side note: With regard to the comfort of these stools, my mother-in-law is very fussy about seating (please don't tell her I told you) and she received one of these for testing. It has become her seat of choice in her kitchen, and it looks like she does not intend to return it - the highest recommendation! 24" height (standard for counter-height stools).
