Description: I am not a CB radio enthusiast so I have no idea how to tell if this is fully working, and if not, what is wrong or right with it. But I'm guessing you probably have a good idea if you're looking at this listing. So I will tell you what I do know: Powers on. Display panels light up. When I turn the unit on there is a noise that's made coming out of the speaker (like static or interference or something. Just a brief, loud NOISE). When I hold the button on the mic down, the green light on the unit goes off. I assume this means the unit is properly reading that there is an outgoing transmission. All the switches etc "work" in the sense every knob turns with a click and every little switch goes up and down as it should. Whether or not any of these are ACTUALLY doing what they're supposed to - I have no clue. Unit generally looks clean. I believe the mic is the original mic (labeled Teaberry). I will ship this as though it is working perfectly. Well-packaged with care. Hopefully this works just fine or only requires a very cheap and easy fix. But again, I simply have no idea, and am selling this unit as FOR PARTS / REPAIR. Just noticed a bit of electrical tape on the end of the plug, no idea of the nature of it, but unit powered on fine as it is. Just be careful when operating for first time just in case.
