Description: This is a very nice new old stock example of a headband that would have been worn at Pittsburgh Steelers games by / to support Franco Harris' Italian Army. The Army started in 1972. We don't know when this headband would have been made, but the Italian Army phenomenon appeared to lead pretty quickly to the appearance of great old merch like this, so we suspect the early to mid 1970s. The headband has the feel of something locally made - flimsy felt construction with a dinky little band, no branding, no fancy package, just a thin plastic bag with a staple at the end. As noted, the condition of the band looks great. The bag is a little cloudy / shows some age, but is fine.
