Description: Vtg Marble JESUS LAST SUPPER SCENE Christianity Art Plaque P.P. DEPOSE' FRANCE- Studio Handmade Artwork 9" long x 2 3/8" wide, and .75" deepA magnificent scene of The Last Supper with Jesus at the head of the table. Extremely unusual viewpoint angle so that the viewer is actually gazing down the table. The viewer is meant to feel like they are there. Most Last Supper scenes are presented as a horizontal view of the table, this is a vertical view. Very different!At the bottom is a sheaf of wheat and a jug of wine marked with a cross HEAVY black marble piece with lovely natural veining, carefully polished to a beautiful gloss. Has a hand beveled edge and a very detailed molded resin scene securely attached. Resin is an alabaster/ivory color with darkened shading and textural background. Completely hand made in France, original foil label and hanging hook on back. Ready to hangExcellent condition, PRISTINE- no nicks, chips, cracks. scratches, or damage of any kind. Please note- the bottom right corner has a veining streak of white marble which can appear as a chipped corner in the photos- it's simply a lighter part of the marble. There are NO chips or damage of any kind. This is a beautiful plaque, great for display and hanging on any wall.Nice for a collector.
