Vintg 1950's Murano Barovier & Toso Hand Blown Gold Glass (Cordonato D'Oro) Lamp

Description: This wonderful lamp has been up for a while so everyone can get a good look at it but I'm going to be switching it here to auction mode pretty quick, so get ready to bid! 🤠 I took some fresh pictures of the lamp & switched them all out for your viewing pleasure! These are the pictures from 11/14/24 that are just posted. Enjoy! This really is a stunning one of a kind vintage Italian Murano Toso & Barovier Cordonato D'Oro table lamp. Hand Crafted in Italy in the 1950s, this lamp features a beautiful hand-blown gold braided glass design with pinkish accents & so much Gold shining in the glass, making it a one of a kind eye-catching piece. The lamp stands at 32 inches tall with a width of 7 inches at the base. All fixtures are original configuration except for a safety plug updated power cord for standard 110V voltage. This mid-century modern lamp is remarkable. I have rebuilt it to as-new condition with all new solid polished brass fittings & base by Grand Brass Lamp Parts, LLC. Every Toso & Barovier Cordonato D'Oro lamp that I have seen, does not have its original configuration with all 3 glass segments. All segments include these three: Base, Mid-Glass & Top-Glass. This is the full lamp, with all three, not one of those 2 segment smaller lamps. Most are missing the top-glass( The "Onion", as it's generally referred to.) This is a true collectors piece. Proper photos have been difficult to take due to the highly reflective quality of the 24K leaf that is within the hand blown glass. Getting the true color of the lamp, in all three sections, included in one single photo was unusually difficult this time! The new photos I just put up are the best so far in representing the true color of the lamp. I replaced the socket with a polished brass, full range adjustable dimmer switch for dimmable Incandescent or LED bulb technology. Now this work of art provides a warm, cozy & adjustable glow atop the historic glasswork. The lamp's sturdy brass and glass material, along with its amazing shining gold finish, are the perfect combination of durability and style that were classic for it's period. All new cast & solid polished brass components. Glass work is in pristine condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. Thin cast brass segment spacers are in place between each glass segment, to prevent any glass grinding or flaking & protect this masterpiece throughout its new life of beautiful service. Finding the right lampshade for such a high quality lamp can be daunting but you certainly don't want me adding in the extra expense of shipping a large lampshade that may not be right for your taste. So I have not selected a lamp shade but have provided some pictures in the gallery with one on it. So that you can see how the lamp looks with the larger & smaller harps that are included along with 5 vintage high quality solid brass finials. The new owner should certainly have the honor & experience of selecting their own perfect shade for the lamp. Lamps of this calibre & completeness are incredibly difficult to find. If you search, you will see many 2-segment lamps of similar type that sell for at least $1300.00 & don't include any of the quality considerations found in the lamp I am offering. The custom solid cast brass base on my lamp was specifically requested & made so that the base-glass would seat perfectly in its cradle. These considerations have been made with every component placed in this lamp & the quality is unsurpassed.
