Description: A gorgeoua beooch that is also a pendant--this piece comes from between the 1930s-40s. Marked correctly with the Eagle and number 3 (Taxco) and engraved Taxco 925 Mexico but I can not make out the makers mark in the center. I will try to get better photos of the initial--may be PJS?--but it is difficult to see the letters.Carved obsidian (hard vocanic lava cooling) and very well done headdress that the mask is bezal set. In good vintage conndition and the obsidian mask has far more luster than my phone can take.2.5 inches tall and 4 grams in weight.
