Description: Vintage Stylebuilt Ormolu Perfume Decanter, Leaf Design. Wow, what a piece for your vanity or dresser top! This ornate piece stands 9 1/2" and holds a small glass vial for perfume. The leaf top has a solid glass "dropper". The open metal work is a vine of ivy leaves with an ivy base and topper. There is no glass bottle inside, most of the others I've seen hold a bottle, this has just the small vial. All research says that it is 24k gold plated on metal, sticker on bottom reads "guaranteed not to tarnish" and #575. Information on company says they started in 1946. I couldn't find another with this pattern or the small vial. I'm guessing 1950's-60's since it belonged to my grandmother, who had lovely things.
