This glove seems appropriate for smaller hands. Don Kessinger was a shortstop/manager who played for the Chicago Cubs, St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago White Sox's. Kessinger was a 6x all-star, received the Gold glove award twice, is in the Chicago Cubs baseball hall of fame and during the 1960s-1970s he was considered one of the best shortstops in baseball.
