Description: Vintage Sandicast®- West Highland Terrier Puppy Dog Sculpture - By Sandra Brue Offered, is an older, pre-owned, Sandicast® West Highland Terrier Puppy Dog sculpture. According to the original label located on the bottom of this 1985 West Highland Terrier sculpture by Sandra Brue was manufactured by Sandicast using marble dust and poly resin and was hand cast and hand painted white in San Diego, California. Along with the original label an incised copy of Sandra Brue’s signature is located on the bottom of the West Highland Terrier Puppy Dog sculpture. In addition, located near the bottom of the sculpture to the right and at the same level of our Puppy Dog’s tail, the name “BRUE” is incised. Our Sandicast West Highlands Terrier Puppy Dog is sitting up as he appears to be happy and begging for something from his family. His entire body is hand painted white and his tongue is out and hand painted pink, his nose is black and his eyes are either black glass or black plastic. His paint is in very good condition as are his glass or plastic eyes and he looks very life-like. We cannot see any paint loss and there are no broken or damaged pieces off the exterior of our of our Sandicast West Highland Terrier Puppy Dog with the exception of what appears to be an old loss of the tip of his left ear, which hardly detracts from the life-like look of our Sandra Brue sculpture. Our Sandicast West Highland Terrier stands approximately 8½ inches tall, approximately 4 inches wide, approximately 5½inches deep from the tip of the tail to the front of the feet and he weighs, 3 lbs. 10.7 oz.
