Description: I've been listing a bunch of NOS vintage knives and other stuff that we had from our store back in the day. Some folks have been asking about how come they are in such great shape: Well, they never sold :) .. they're unused and most are new in their original box. But the reason they didn't sell was rarely because it was a poor mover... it was usually because we had a LOT of knives. So many knives in fact that a good bunch of these knives we simply forgot about in a cabinet or box. That is the case with a couple I'm listing today including this old Browning: These Brownings were from the late 80's as I recall. Made by one of the big German cutlery shops for Browning firearms. Knife has two blades and measures 3 5/8" closed. Large blade measures just over 2 1/2", Small blade measures 1 3/4". Knife has Brass Pins and Liners and Features Nickel Silver Bolsters. Some tarnish on bolsters from to storage and age. Tang on large blade reads Browning over Germany. As I recall these were before the wall went down so made in West Germany actually. Has original box and papers. This is a NOS item that we had in our sporting good store's inventory that went unsold years ago.
