Description: This item is vintage (est. 1960"s) very accurate and precise, fully operational, fully mechanical, analytical balance. It is capable of measuring down to 0.1mg or 0.0001g. It was routinely certified to an accuracy +/- 1mg. Maximum weight is 200g. The unit has a backlight for the display that runs on 120VAC. The last digit read, 0.1mg, is interpolated by selecting the closest floating graduation to the fixed line. The digits to the left of the decimal are dialed in (with the partial release engaged) and the other digits automatically float into place. We are unsure if instructions or a manual are available on-line, but assistance for use will gladly be provided if requested. There are some scratches, mars, and stains, particularly in the front of the unit as shown in the pictures. The internal parts appear to be in pristine shape. This item, as assembled, can not, IMO, be shipped safely. Therefore, we are offering free delivery to anywhere in Los Angeles or Orange county, CA. Alternatively, it can be picked up at an agreed upon location.
