Description: Here we have a vintage roll-top child's school desk and chair. Item is from Leicester, England, and is made by Taylor. Nice wooden antique desk and swivel chair with green leather. Desk stands about 32 inches tall, about 26 1/2 inches across, about 17 1/2 inches wide. Desk and chair are in really good condition for their age. The desk has spaces for inkwells too. Desk is still sturdy and solid, and the chair is in good shape too. The most notable flaws are a couple very small holes on the chair's leather seat and a small red blotch of what appears to be red paint on the inside of the bottom drawer, as you can see from the last two photos. Also, the roll-top can be difficult to move at certain parts, you just have to be patient and kind of wiggle it and maneuver/guide it along the tracks. It is a little bit of a process, but it can be done. Please look over the photos for yourself. Don't hesitate to ask questions.
