Description: This is a great looking, vintage all brass lightning rod on original brass stand. It is a 19th century bayonet style finial and is 14 1/2" tall. The side of the stand has the prongs that are hammered over the heavy copper cable that grounds the rod. Has the original patina. I used a little steel wool on the bottom of the stand to show that it could be polished (last photo). The finial unscrews from the stand. Will be shipped that way.
