Be sure to add me to your favorites list!This listing is for a vintage Gale Hollywood Bb soprano clarinet mouthpiece. These are often attributed to M.C. Gregory, but they were actually made by his son in law, and named for his (Gregory's) daughter, Gale. Apparently, Gale's husband was a protege of M.C. Gregory. It's all very convoluted! This mouthpiece is made of excellent quality hard rubber. It is stamped 4M, and the tip opening measures in at 1.2mm (.047"). This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. There are no cracks or other damage. The rubber is still black and shiny, and the logo/markings are nice and clear. There are a few spots of scratching on the exterior. The cork is in great shape. This piece has been cleaned/sanitized.
