Erzgebirge wooden folk art candle carousel / pyramid includes a manger scene and the perimeter rotates smoothly from heat generated by the candles. The wood blades on the top fan do not have burn or soot marks. The figures are not broken or repaired and the paint is bright and not cracking or peeling. This is the real deal. The underside of the piece is marked "Made in the German Democratic Republic" (East Germany). Candle holders have a brass lining for additional safety. The box of candles has 8 remaining unused candles, I'm including them. Beautifully, expertly made piece. True heirloom piece.
