Description: Vintage TM Figure with Early Features. Gi Joe has the early style baby feet and beefy hands. I think all his body parts are R and L. He is tight and poses excellent, He has the early feature head - cool eyes, heavy eyebrows. Very clean looking with good rivet paint on most of the rivets, doesn't look like this guy had any outside play time. He has a few cracks but not nearly as bad as most of these early figures. His Uniform is very good. The Shirt is Tagged Hasbro TM R Japan. It is the early style with buttons on the front but no front pockets. The Pants are dual snap - I don't see a tag in the pants. The Tall Brown Boots have some imperfections, they are easy to get on and off (soft). His Field Cap is stamped #1 Made in USA. Vintage Gi Joe Action Soldier equipment. The Web Belt has the slide and shiny buckles, NM. The Sleeping Bag is tagged like the shirt, the zipper is good, it has initials inside, see photo. The Canteen Cover has good snaps and the Canteen is stamped Hasbro Japan on the back. He comes with a Combat Helmet in near mint condition, it has the original strap, lugs and brass hook, this helmet is stamped Hasbro inside but not Japan like most of them, a quite rare helmet in exceptional condition. The Field Jacket has a bad zipper, looks like just a minor flaw at the bottom but I could not get it to zip, otherwise it looks near mint with an early TM Hong Kong Tag. The 6 Grenades look excellent. The Color Brochure has some wear and tear. The Mess Kit is excellent and complete! First Aid Pouch looks good. The M1 is Near Mint, it's the very Hard to Find Mid-stock Stamping! Don't Pass up this Very Cool Early Gi Joe Soldier with Rare items, (and I am not big on using the word RARE but you just don't find some of these items very often.)
