Description: Vintage Chandler's made in USA 12" long & heavy-duty (HD) tailor's scissors or shears, in bright chrome finish, with worn black enamel paint on the grips & blunt point 6" long blades. These scissors are for right-handed use. Note that scissors show an abrasion to the edge of the larger finger hole (see last photo), and most of the original black enamel on the grips has worn off, however, the blades are sharp and, despite a couple patches of surficial rusting, generally clean inside (see photos). This pair weigh over a pound and a half!! (692 grams), and are just the tool for cutting light- to medium-weight fabrics, canvas, mat board, even thin leather. How often have you seen a scissors with a half-inch nut on its pivot screw??! (see photo--wrench NOT included). Also, as a point of information, the Chandler's is a name still out there, but seller could only find this scissors available now new in 10" size.
