Description: THANKS FOR CHECKING OUT MY AUCTION. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND MY POLICIES BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID. Check out my other items! Be sure to add me to your favorites list! This listing is for a vintage Berg Larsen tenor saxophone ligature and cap set. This is a moderately old ligature, probably from the 1970's or early 80's. It has bright nickel finish like the current ones but has the older style screws (not the knurled barrel type). It comes with a matching Berg metal cap, which has more of a matte finish. This set is for an ebonite (hard rubber) tenor mouthpiece. If you intend to use this on a different brand, please keep in mind that Berg hard rubber tenor mouthpieces are relatively narrow, so this may not fit other brands as it is actually closer in size to a standard alto ligature. This ligature is in very good condition. It has not been bent out of shape, and there are no cracks. The screws work properly, and they are both original. The nickel is still very bright and shiny with minimum scratching. The cap is not bent, dinged, or cracked. Please feel free to email me with any questions. Thanks again for looking! TMG-53
