The color has not faded, and the fur is still soft and fluffy. There are no rips, no tears, and no holes. The vinyl trim around the collar is in excellent shape, and it still has its original vinyl tabs down the placket. I noted one missing button. Overall this darling coat will display beautifully! FUN FACT - The Young Ideas outfits were all made from left over fabric from various Barbie, Skipper, and Francie outfits. There are almost an endless number of fabric variations used to make each piece in the ensemble sets that were sold. It was almost impossible to find identical sets. Only the coat was tagged. All the other pieces in the set were not tagged.
