Description: This vibrant cotton blend 1870's Holmes County, Ohio Amish log cabin quilt is all treadle machine pieced and hand quilted, with an unusual heart design.It measures 72" X 84" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of light, inconspicuous spots and no wear. The hand quilting is superb, with quilting around the piecework and in elaborate heart, rose, and swag designs in the border, all at 7-8 stitches to the inch. The back and hand stitched binding are the same violet color and the batting is thin. The WONDERFUL DESIGN, and WARM COLORS make this nicely quilted vintage COLLECTOR'S QUILT stand out!
