VINTAGE ART DECO GERMANY TRAVEL COCKTAIL SHAKER SET MILK BOTTLE STYLE 1930s RARE

Description: This rare German nickel plated travel cocktail set is comprised of a cocktail shaker, a juicer, 4 cocktail cups, three glass flask bottles and a condiment jar; all ingeniously designed to fit together into a compact bar for the long distance traveller. This circa 1930 set is unsigned but attributed to J A Henckels of Solingen which also created the famed zeppelin cocktail set. This "milk bottle" model is quite scarce. The shaker, lid, cap and juicer are all marked "Made in Germany" as are the three metal caps for the glass flasks. The main shaker and lid are also marked with the numbers 947. The cups are marked "Germany" on the base. The vintage leather case pictured is not original to the shaker but will be included. In overall good all-original condition. There are no dents, scratches or plate loss to the metal pieces. The three glass flasks are also free of damage. Any cleaning or polishing of these various pieces will be left to the new owner. The glass condiment jar which is hidden in the base and often missing from this set is present however it has suffered a significant internal stress crack sometime during its long existence as seen in the last photos. The top rim of the strainer lid is also slightly out of round however this could be remedied if desired by the successful bidder. The assembled set measures 11" tall with a 3 1/2" base diameter and weighs 3 lbs. Please review the photos and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
