Description: Genuine 1940's bakelite fruit! Bright red cherries and green leaves on a bakelite red chain. It is 13" long, so likely a necklace that was shortened at some point. 7 leaves, 8 small cherries, and 6 large cherries. The stems for the cherries are made of string coated in plastic, which is now weak and could break. One cherry came off, so I am being very careful with this piece. The necklace will need some restoration to secure the cherries. In the last photo is a picture of the loose cherry next to the chain.
