Description: Vintage 1980s Maxell "Blown-Away Guy" Metal Statue Sculpture Maxell Advertisement This small sculpture depicts the iconic picture taken in 1979 by the commercial photographer Steve Steigman and conceived by creative art director Lars Anderson. The model in the chair was the top hairstylist, Jac Colello. An advertising image has been healed as a pop culture icon. Measures: 3.5" long x 2.25" high and 1" deep. Weighs: 14 oz. (heavy). Comes in original box and inserts. NOTE: On the lower table, the sheen is slightly lost. In the 1980s, Maxell was an icon in pop culture after it produced advertisements popularity known as "Blown Away Guy" in La Corbusier grand comfort chair, high armed chair - on the right side of the spread. The guy heir and necktie, along with Martini glass on the low table, are being blown back by the tremendous sound from speakers of front of him.
