Description: Vintage Ned Smith Signed and Numbered 62/500 Prints. These are framed in the picture, but the frames are in bad condition. Using the frames just to protect the prints. Portfolio itself shows some wear from the sun, but the prints are all in excellent condition. Included prints are: Bobwhite, Ruffed Grouse, Chukar Partridge, Mountain Quail, Mourning Dove, Rigneck Pheasant, Wild Turkey, Valley Ned Smith, who painted this wildlife series for Field & Stream magazine, is a self-taught artist, naturalist, photographer, and writer. Born in Millersburg, PA, Mr. Smith has spent a good part of his life observing and studying wildlife from Northern Alberta to the Florida Keys, and From Mexico to Maine. His work has appeared in many magazines and books, and in recognition of the contribution he has made in informing and educating the public through his accurate wildlife illustrations, The American Association for Conservation Information awarded him one its coveted Awards of Merit in 1964.
