Description: Big beautiful Dick Tracy police car by Ideal Toy Co.. Vintage 1963. Been in my care for 36 years. Overall good condition. No cracks. Some scratches and rubs here and there. Dick Tracy lettering is clean and legible. Missing steering mechanism in front. Front antenna is plugged into rear forward/reverse receptor and rear antenna is missing. Also missing a rather massive horn that fitted on the roof. Missing one of the overtaking lights from the hood. The metal parts on the underside have a metal patina. Battery holder has clean contacts at one end. There is a metal contact strap that completes the circuit which is missing at the other. Motor untested. An impressive toy at over 24 inches in length.
