Description: For your perusal is a vintage Barbie doll. Doll stands about 11.5" tall and has dark brown hair sort of a bob that curls in on the ends. She is wearing a gold gown and floral printed matching coat. There is some rusty colored stains on the gown and ends of the sleeves. Back snap closure on the gown. White bead earrings, that look like pins pushed into head and assumed handmade necklace as found a bag of beads in this lot when I purchased it. Markings and other noted factors include:Thumb and pinky are separate from rest of hand - right second finger separated from middle finger - the 3 fingers are attached on left handBoth feet marked JapanRight butt cheek marked copyright 1958 by Mattel Inc. Patented patent pending Made in JapanBendable legsNail polish on fingers holding up pretty well if there was any on the toes it is gone. Light pinkish lipstick. Blue eyes no lashes. Picked up at an estate sale in a large lot of vintage Barbies & accessories - not sure where she stored them, but there is a slight odor (there was no basement in the house, maybe poorly vented attic?).
