Description: This brunette Sweet Sue was made in the 1950s by American Character. She has no makers mark, like many of these dolls. She is a hard plastic, head turning walker and her walking mechanism still works. She has pretty blue-green eye. She has rooted saran hair that is a bit frizzy but not missing any plugs. She has all her eyelashes and her sleep eyes work well. On her right cheek she has some small brown marks and a little paint damage (pictured). She has some subtle paint damage in the back of her legs. The doll's set includes only the doll itself and a victorian dress that is not original. Undergarments are original. (Red robe not included) Notable callouts: Please check all photos. Walker mechanism works amazing, Sleep eyes works amazing. Some damage on the cheeks and marks on side face. Hair needs a spa day or possible re-root, up to you! Downsizing my collection and Sweet Sue needs a new home! As is.
