Vintage 1800’s Brown genuine Alligator Leather skin Doctor’s bag Extra Large

Description: This vintage doctor's bag is made of genuine crocodile leather in a beautiful brown color. The bag is perfect for casual occasions and has a unique arts & crafts look. It is an original piece from the mid to late 1800's and has not been modified. The bag is extra large and has a doctor's style, making it perfect for anyone who wants a unique and vintage accessory. **** This is a STUNNING Bag, in fabulous condition! I have conditioned it, and it’s a deep chestnut brown color, beautiful patina to it. 15.5” long across the bottom seam to seam 19” at widest point 10” tall ( bag itself) 6.5” across the bottom (seam to seam) 8” across the bag ( sideways) *** The bag has been very well kept, but has some small flaws: **1 foot is missing ***Two Small cracks in the leather on the handle *** Inner pocket has torn away from the lining, see pics. It looks as though it had some type of a brown adhesive keeping it together (old glue, not anything recent, that’s why it’s dark) THE INSIDE of the bag is lined in a very fine soft leather (Purchased at an estate sale in Casey Key Florida, which is an extremely wealthy area, and this belonged to the owners great grandfather) There is no brand on it, just the embossed numbers on the bottom. It’s quite possible that it was made here in Florida ****Fabulous piece for a Doctor’s office, Veterinarian, Home decor, Movie, Theatre prop! ** This is a functional bag, however due to the age, I would “recommend” being gentle with it.
