Description: ๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐,Here we have an 1881 edition of the GOLDEN BOOK OF TALES edited and compiled by William Swinton and George R. Cathcart and published in a beautiful โจSHINYโจVictorian fine binding by Ivison, Blakeman, Taylor, and Company. The book features illustrated fairy tales and legends from around the world including Aladdin, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, and Jack and the Beanstalk. Book is in good condition with marks on the back cover, general rubbing/shelf wear, crushing to the top and bottom of the spine, and soft corners on the boards. Binding is tight and there are no loose pages that I could detect. Please refer to pictures for more detailed information on condition. I recovered this book from the estate sale of a heavy smoker so there is a faint odor of cigarettes that still clings to the book. One of the employees at the estate sale told me that the previous owner was a former homicide detective and while they were preparing the house for the sale they found a human skull. Police even came and shut everything to do an investigation. Ooooo spooky. ๐ Thank you for considering this book. -๐ฎ๐๐๐๐โ๐๐๐๐๐
