The body is from a Limited Edition Squier Bullet Strat I purchased new from Musician’s Friend. The paint is gloss metallic black with a hint of fine silver metal flake. I’ve included an image where I bounce light off the body to highlight the flake finish. From a few feet away, the body looks gloss black. The pickguard is a genuine Fender Jim Root Strat model. The pickups, harness and controls are take-offs from a Squier Jim Root Tele, purchased from Stratosphere. Note these are not active pickups. I purchased the neck from Sam’s Guitar Shop, a USA brick-and-mortar dealer here on eBay. It looks and plays great. It has a C-shape and 22 medium jumbo frets. The Fender locking tuners keep this guitar in tune for months. Currently strung with D’Addario NY XL 10-49s, this guitar has great low action and weighs 7 lbs. 6 oz. Everything is in excellent, lightly used condition. Assuming I value the body at $80, I have over $400 into this build. I am selling at $219 plus $39 shipping to the continental US only.
