Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE The patent pending Tylaska LH10 Basilisk is a small 25KN breaking strength rope redirection and braking device. Braking is accomplished by passing the running line through various combinations of the through holes in a cascade fashion. Like the larger balilisks, it can be used for controlling the lowering of logs, limbs and sections of tree trunks when cutting down a tree. However, it's small size makes it useful for sailing applications as well. The Tylaska Basilisk utilizes a closed aperture passageway to keep the attachment line captive and eliminates the need for a tightly spliced connection as well as the risk of the attachment line peeling off the device during severe shocks. The two end passages can also be used as line redirection points so as to allow the device to act as a multi directional low friction ring for use as 2-1 line in-haulers or other such applications.
