Description: Incredible pair of antique porcelain plaques mounted in elaborate bronze triptych, door-paneled Gothic frames. Each is in total 8" tall with an easel stand plus a ring for wall mounting. I have searched on line to discover the Blue Madonna is by the fine German porcelain maker known by the initials KPM. I do not know for certain the source of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Both are hand painted. The Madonna is after a painting by Carlo Dolci, mater dolorosa. The frames are elaborately articulated, the door openings bear heraldic angels on their interiors. You can find similar examples on-line, most of them incorrectly listed as French in origin. They are generally offered as a single triptych at prices that I am offering for the pair. The only flaw I find is a bend inward of the post of the Christ Triptych. It is shown in a photo. The doors open and close nicely and the metal surface has an aged patina. US buyers only. Shipping is 25 dollars, double boxed with extra insurance. I do not accept returns at this time, but please contact me if any problem and I will do my best to resolve. If insurance requires it, I will ship with a signature confirmation requirement (meaning buyer will probably have to go to post office to obtain package.) Thank you for looking.
