It says it's from 2008 and has that old school vibe, where you hear it spinning when it loads and it takes just a touch longer for it to respond that the newer technology, but it's solid and does exactly what it should. It's in really good shape, with just light wear. There is no remote, but you can just use the buttons on it. It actually looks and sound pretty good to me. Included is the original box, in pretty beat up shape, but of course it's just a box and also there is a wall and car power cord. I wanted to note, I don't think the battery is still holding a charge, so you'll want to keep it plugged in, while using it. I'll add some details below from the manufacturer.
