Description: The Tapestry Book by Helen Churchill Candee. This is a 1935 edition of a work originally published in 1912. The plates are all in beautiful shape (and the black and white are really more like brown and white). 275 pages, including a Foreword and an Index. It's a semi-heavy hardback / hardcover. It doesn't have the dustjacket...exactly. Although not a former institution copy (of the general sort), someone cut the front cover from the original dust cover, and pasted it onto a faux-leather, library-style jacketing. Perhaps they didn't have plastic protective covers at whatever time in the past that was. The pages are all in great physical shape, but there are short underlinings and bracketings in pencil on 16 pages (I show one in a photo as an example). Smudges on page 79, and the spine is starting to show at page 95. Please see all the photos. I do combine postage, which includes tracking.
