Description: By Sidney Whipple. A 1935 overview of the case and trial from the UPI reporter who covered the case. It was reissued in paperback a dozen years ago, but this is the hardcover original, apparently a first. The book is not in perfect shape, as you'll see -- stamps and writing from previous stops, and page 1 has come loose. Sits very straight, though; less toning than you'd expect, and minimal fading, minimal wear to the boards. A nice pick-up.
