Author Biography I was born into a Christian family, baptized as an infant in a Methodist Church. God has many adopted children but He has no grandchildren. I grew up but never really had a personal relation with God. I did not know Jesus as my personal Savior because no one introduce Him to me. I attended Sunday School and I learn about the other Bible Characters. I was a nominal Christian. I grew up not knowing God personally though I have some head knowledge but I had no heart knowledge. As a teenager I was restless seeking for peace and reality. Who am I? Why am I in this world? Where am I going? So many questions but no answers. I sought comfort from religion, I studied Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism and Islam. I sought protection and power in Thai Buddhism through the charms and amulets and I have seen their "powers." It was many year later that I had an encounter with God. I was invited to a Keswick Convention, I heard the speakers preaching Jesus Christ, His death on the Cross and how His blood can wash away my sins. I knew I was a sinner but I did not go forward during the nightly calls for repentance. One night while at home alone in my room, suddenly a great fear came over me, it brought me down to my knees, many things were flipping through my mind. Do you know what I saw? Sin after sin race through my mind and I was convicted by them, they were terrible, though they were "common sins" which everyone did. I wept and I wept and I wept. I cried to God, pleaded with Him for mercy and pardon. I plead for the blood of Jesus and I accepted Him as my Savior. The sudden fear that came, it disappeared. I rose up a different person. I had an encounter with Almighty God, He was so gracious and merciful. I was converted to Christianity in 1975. I joined a Presbyterian Church across the road from my home and I worship with them. In 1976 God called me to full-time Christian Ministry. I received an audible calling from the Lord. I left my job in 1979 and I went to Christ For The Nations Institute, Dallas, Texas in preparation for the ministry. I finish CFNI in 1981 and I came back to Singapore to serve the Lord. Once I put my hands to the plough there was no turning back, I have served Him since and I will serve Him till my dying day or till I see Him face to face in the Sky.
