Description: The Best Of The James Gang Featuring Joe Walsh Reissue Funk 49 Walk Away Eagles Bought this one around 1989 after hearing an early Van Halen bootleg that had a version of “Walk Away” that blew my mind. The music reflects Joe Walsh’s persona in that it rocks, doesn’t take itself too seriously, and invites repeated listening. Cover is in excellent condition with a little wear in the corners. Dust jacket is a glorified plastic bag, which was often the case with classic rock reissues that came out in the late 1980s. Bears noting that this band launched the guy who played Rocky Mountain Way, crushed the solo in Hotel California and even made Richard Marx sound fairly rocking on Don’t Mean Nothing. And I credit him as the glue guy for The Eagles leading up to and including their resurrection.
