Description: The item for sale is a copper lusterware pitcher made in Staffordshire, England by the Sunderland pottery during the early to mid nineteenth century. The pitcher has a metallic copper appearance but it is glazed pottery. The goblet features a decorative band with houses drawn simplistically with pink and copper luster glaze. The interior has a pink luster glaze band around the rim. The goblet has a nearly invisible hairline crack from the rim. This can only be seen on the interior and is tight. Otherwise, the condition of the goblet is essentially pristine. There are no other chips, cracks nor wear. The height and diameter are both 4".
