It was found in an estate jewelry collection and is also inscribed BGE925. I wasn’t sure about that inscription and this is what I found; A ring stamped with BGE 925 indicates a Bradford Gold Exchange release made of 92.5% pure sterling silver with gold plating inscribed on the inside. These stamps represent Sterling silver; this implies that the jewelry must be 92.5% pure silver and another metal, generally copper. Silver is a soft metal, and therefore sturdy jewelry requires the addition of another metal. It is pre owned with some slight wear.
