Description: I loved all things STEINBACH! In addition to my hundreds of ornaments, I collected other unique pieces.This cute Bavarian Santa music box plays “Jingle Bells” when the handle is turned. He resides in his original wooden crate with the STEINBACH name and label. Bavarian Santa is 4”H. I purchased Santa in 2001, so he is 23 years old, but looks new. The Steinbach factory in Germany was run by a Steinbach family member for more than 2 centuries. Christian Steinbach passed away suddenly in 2008. The company went bankrupt in 2015 and the family sold their workshops. The factory reopened under new ownership without a Steinbach attached.
