Description: This Auction is for a brand new Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Knife with Brown Canvas Micarta handles and a CPM Cruwear Super Steel blade with a satin finish. This is an “sometimes release” that was inspired by the success of the Sprint run Curcata Shaman (an extremely rare Spyderco that featured handles of canvas micarta, an unheard-of knife handle material by Spyderco at the time). In addition to the rare Micarta handle material the CPM Cruwear blade steel is a HUGE upgrade for a Para 2 (or any knife for that matter!). These Spyderco PM2's are released sporadically and are at times difficult to obtain. The Spyderco Paramilitary is a classic and immensely popular knife. The size, blade shape and overall fit and finish make it a classic. The G10 handle scales, (an industrial fiber glass composite laminate), are tough, lightweight, and nearly impervious to decomposition and moisture. Nested and skeletonized stainless-steel liners reduce weight while maintaining a high level of strength. This exeptional Paramilitary 2 features a precision machined super steel CPM Cruwear blade. Created by Crucible Industries, CRU-WEAR's unique alloy composition and Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, translates to a blade with amazing toughness and the ability to take and hold an outstanding edge. The clip point full flat ground blade is versatile at piercing and slicing with jimping on the spine and finger choil for grip and precision control. The over-sized Spyderco Round Hole allows for easy ambidextrous opening. The blade, features a durable, non-reflective satin finsh. The knife closes via Spyderco's patented Compression Lock mechanism--allowing users to safely close the blade with one hand without ever having the operating hand come near the cutting. A 4-way positional pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on either side of the handle.
