It pains me to part with this poster, but I'm raising money to fund a vasectomy reversal so I can start a family (no foolin'!) At $10K, this procedure ain't cheap. So it's sayonara to the gang from Spaced, and hello to the scalpel. I purchased this poster as part of the SPACED Numb-a-Thon, held at the now-shuttered Alamo Drafthouse Ritz in downtown Austin, Texas. The Spaced marathon took place on Sunday, July 27, 2008. Read more about it here: Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright MC'd the festivities, and both gents signed my poster afterward. This is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind collectible, a piece of moviegoing history. And it's damned beautiful to boot. You'll love poring over the many details and film/TV references that Tyler Stout packed into the poster. The poster is clean and vibrant; there is no fading or discoloration. The poster shows some cockling, or rippling, owing to the humidity of San Antonio, TX, where I lived until recently. These ripples will smooth out under glass, however. The lower right corner is bumped, but not badly so (see photo). Otherwise, there are minimal signs of handling.
