Side Two: The Surrey With The Fringe On Top Blues For Philly Joe Namely You This record is a true first pressing. The center has a deep groove with "47 West 63rd NYC" on the label. There is no "R" underneath Blue Note. It also has the "ear mark" and RVG stamped in the runout. Truly a great find! The record itself DOES play in Very Good (VG) condition. Side two has a number of, what looks like some deep scratches, but they ARE NOT scratches. These marks are purely visual, and cannot be felt or heard when playing. Please check the accompanying video in this listing to hear just how good it sounds. The cover also has some significant wear to it, and is only in better than Good (G+) condition. Even still, for almost 70 years old, this is a great buy! All of my records are shipped in white record mailer boxes.
