Description: "Selected Writings" by Elbert Hubbard, published in 1922 by Roycrofters. Includes Hubbards's famous Titanic essay. Philosopher and proponent of the Arts & Crafts Movement, Hubbard ran his own press in East Aurora, NY. This hardcover was published by that press, the Roycrofters. "The Titanic" was written as an essay by Hubbard in 1912. Ironically, he was to lose his own life three years later in the sinking of the Lusitania in 1915. The Roycrofter Press continued to publish after his death, and this book, along with many others, was published posthumously.
