Description: The Franklin Library is known for their fine collector's edition of leather bound books of the great classical works. This particular edition of Select Plays by William Shakespeare was printed in 1981 as a quarter bound leather book with gilded edges on all sides, raised bands, and high quality paper that was sewn into the binding and a matching ribbon page marker. Selected Plays Include: Romeo and Juliet A Midsummer Night's Dream Hamlet Othello King Lear Macbeth The Tempest This book is in very good condition. There is some very slight bowing to the front and rear panels. There is a small discoloration/stain on the title page that is quite faint. The binding is still tight with no internal markings.
