Description: Auction is for one violet/purple chainguard, original paint and screen as shown in photos. Guard came off a 1965 Slik Chik if I remember correctly. This is a used original guard which has poor condition paint and screen on it. condition. I have several guards for sale here on Ebay and I believe. Guard is the exact same size as my 63-65 Stingray guards, only this model has the chrome front which is the exact same as a Superdeluxe Stingray. Lots of paint loss, chips in paint, peppered chrome, rust on back. There are slight bends I tried to point out the top bend in a photo, on the bottom below that there is a slight bend. These bends are small and not that noticeable unless you are really looking for defects, my opinion anyway. Also do effect on working of the guard, will fit and do it's job with no rubbing or anything a bigger bend might have. Sold AS-IS so look at photos, (see last photos). Measures approximately 13 inches between mounting holes. Good for a rough early violet Slik Chik. Maybe try rubbing away the white screen and using on a violet Super Deluxe. I have never tried this rubbing out a screen on a guard and make no warranties if this works and how the end result would turn out. I also make no warranties regarding anything about this guard as there are no returns. (see all photos as they show condition of guard better than a written description).
