I think this was likely created by an American artist, perhaps painting while on vacation in the Mediterranean. I would date the piece as maybe 1980's. It is a pleasant and decorative work that should evoke memories of vacations in the Greek Islands; this could very likely be a view of famous Santorini, beloved by international tourists. Condition is excellent. The pieces measures 11 3/4" by 7" (17 1/2" by 13 1/2" in modern type framing).
